Student Council

Our student council is a great way for students to get involved and learn leadership skills. Student council promotes and encourages school spirit and student participation.

Student council consists of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and a representative from each grade. The council meets about once a month to plan fundraiser and school spirit days. We also publish our very own student council newsletter, the J-BAM.

To be a part of student council, all candidates are required to make a speech, and are then elected by the entire student body. Parent permission is needed for students to participate as either an officer or representative. Elections are usually held in the beginning of May for the following year.
